BELOW ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF WHAT OUR REPS AND MEMBERS HAVE ACHIEVED AT EASYJET OVER THE YEARS AND SOME CURRENT CAMPAIGNS.
In the summer of 2020 we launched our Orange Outrage campaign in response to the announcement that easyJet planned to close 3 UK bases and make many more crew redundant. We had demonstrations outside many UK airports and even parliament to highlight the injustice and to encourage the government into providing sector specific support to the aviation industry.

A disruption payment victory was achieved Following the completion of the pay negotiations in 2017.

The EzyUnite reps committee secured WDOs meaning you get wrap days next to 3+ leave days meaning you get 7 days leave for the price of 3!
The rest/breaks campaign has now been on our agenda since August 2013.
We will continue to put pressure on Easyjet to find a solution to this problem.

We worked on getting a buy back policy implemented in the summer of 2016.
Unite the Union has launched a ‘period dignity’ campaign calling on employers to provide free sanitary products in the workplace. The campaign also aims to change attitudes about “that time of the month” so that women and girls no longer feel awkward about the natural cycle of their bodies.
“Unite aims to raise awareness and help women members experiencing the menopause at work through our network of safety reps and shop stewards by preventing discrimination and making changes to our working environments which can benefit everyone. Women can play an important role in raising workplace standards for all.”
We have been working collaboratively with the company regarding holiday pay.
As a result of developments in holiday pay legislation
