Get ME Home Safely is Unite’s campaign to make our communities and workplaces safer places for our members.
Employers and governments across the UK must play their part too.
We are looking to expanding Unites get me home safely campaign to include aviation workers as our members are facing many of the same challenges as hospitality workers due to the shift work and nature of our job.

Unite the union has launched a ‘Period Dignity’ campaign to secure access to sanitary protection in workplaces across the UK. The campaign includes a range of communication materials including a video and tools to help union members encourage employers to support the campaign and provide free tampons and pads in staff toilets.
Your Equalities Rep and the easyJet Reps committee are fully committed to the Period Dignity campaign and are working with easyJet to provide free access to sanitary products for any worker who may need it.
Here at EzyUnite we are trying to raise awareness of the menopause and its symptoms as many of our members are experiencing the menopause or will be in the next several years and we feel awareness of what the menopause is and its symptoms is low amongst crew.
According to the NHS Online most women will experience the following menopausal symptoms:
hot flushes.
night sweats.
difficulty sleeping.
low mood or anxiety.
reduced sex drive (libido)
problems with memory and concentration.
